Hollywood cemetery

Hollywood cemetery

tucked back in-between Randolph and Oregon hill, resides a beautiful  and tranquil rural styled cemetery. during its construction in 1847, The Landscape architect (John Notman) tried to keep the landscape and plant life as original as possible. In 2017, Hollywood Cemetery was named a recognized arboretum

Cemeteries are often regarded as a place to mourn a loved one, and while parks are not, they are similar in many other ways.
 Cemeteries are public green spaces

           but also

they are regularly maintained public green space that include natural beauty, public amenities, and areas to sit down (just like a park)Many residents hold cemeteries close to their heart, religious or not, the concept of death still plays a significant role in shaping the beliefs and traditions of us and our culture. Because of this cemeteries have their own separate baseline rules.

             The Mundanity

that many motorists associate with a pedestrians commute is a large factor in the disconnect between these 2 groups of people.

With this blog I aim to document        this Mundanity, and all aspects of the entire             park going experience

I encouraged those who enjoy parks, and walking to submit raw uncut video of your entire commute to a park to the email listed                     below
